PUTRAJAYA, 12 July 2024. The Keynote Address (KNA) by the Chief of Defence Force (CDF), Jeneral Tan Sri Datoβ Seri Mohammad bin Ab. Rahman was held for Course Participants (CP) of Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) – MCSCJ Serial 53/24 at Dewan Hikmat, Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC). The KNA, entitled βMalaysian Armed Forces (MAF) Future Force: Challenges and Aspiration,β discussed about the issues of current planning and challenges in achieving Angkatan 30.
The objective of this event was to enable CP to obtain first hand information from policy and decision enablers, provide CP with strategic and operational insights and finally enhance CP knowledge on contemporary issues related to defence and security matters.
CDF also discussed the MAF aspirations through the comprehensive strategic plan. At the end of the speech, there was an interactive question and answer session with the students to share views and opinions on the topics presented so that the MAF organisation remains intact and becomes a superior organisation in the future.
Also participating in the session were the President of PUSPAHANAS, Vice Admiral Datuk Sabri bin Zali, Commandant of the Nasional Resilience College, Mej Jen Datuk Johnny Lim Eng Seng, Commandant of the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College, First Admiral Hj Shahriman bin Hj Mahmud, Commandant of the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College, Brig Jen Zamsari bin Abu Hasan and other Senior Officers.
