The TTT is an annual programme conducted by MAFSC with the assistance of a Mobile Training Team (MTT) from the Australian Defence Force Warfare Training Centre (ADFWTC). The intensive 4 day programme was conducted from 22 to 25 Jul 24. The programme aimed to prepare MAFSC Faculty Members/Directing Staff (FM/DS) for their roles in directing and mentoring Course Participants on the JMAP during the Military Module in Semester 3. The MTT was led by LTCOL David Ready, Chief Instructor of ADFWTC.
The TTT Course concentrated on enhancing the FM/DS knowledge and comprehension of the JMAP, covering crucial areas such as problem framing, task appreciation, operational plan development, and wargaming. The ADFWTC MTT was highly impressed with the rapid grasp and application of JMAP theories and principles by the MAFSC FM/DS across a variety of scenarios. The dedication and professionalism demonstrated by the MAFSC FM/DS were noted with appreciation by the Australian team. Overall, the programme was a resounding success, leaving the FM/DS well-prepared for their responsibilities in Semester 3.
On the final day, Commandant of MAFSC, Brig Jen Zamsari bin Abu Hasan, addressed the MTT, expressing his gratitude and highlighting the importance of this partnership between MAFSC and ADFWTC. The address was followed by an exchange of mementos between both parties. To mark the successful completion of the programme, the College organised an appreciation lunch for the MTT together with Commandant and all FM/DS.
MAFSC appreciates the expertise, dedication, and the wealth of knowledge shared by ADFWTC MTT and is looking forward to continuing the programme in the future.
