KUANTAN, 20th August 2024 – The second day of the North Capabilities and Operational Study (NCOS) East Visit was filled with exciting insights of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) capabilities in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
The day began at the RMAF Kuantan Airbase with informative briefings that emphasised on HADR. Lt Kol Bahaizil Nazim bin Mohd Bakar RMAF, Assistance Chief of Staff A3, RMAF Air Region 1 Headquarters, and Mej Syamsuhaimi bin Ramli RMAF, Training Design and Development Officer, 320 Sqn CRC 1 Kuantan, shared valuable information on the RMAF’s expertise in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations in the region.
Kdr Mohd Ezrinorsyah bin Md Shah RMN, Head of Operation MAWILLA 1, then elaborated on the Navy’s HADR capabilities within the MAWILLA 1 area of responsibility, highlighting their focus on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
The visit concluded on a high note with participants enjoying a static display the RMAF EC 725. The impressive performance left a lasting impression on all attendees.
