PUTRAJAYA, 27th August 2024 – The Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) Serial 53/2024 convened in Hikmat Hall to honour Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, a significant event celebrated annually on 14 August, marking the dawn of Pakistan’s sovereignty in 1947. The occasion was graced by the esteemed Commandant MAFSC, CDS, and HTD, alongside current Overseas Course Participants from Pakistan, Cdr Muhammad Naveed Ali (Pakistan Navy) and Maj Ali Aizaz Rasul (Pakistan Army).
The OCP from Pakistan eloquently delivered an insightful briefing on Pakistan’s rich culture and storied history, underscoring the enduring and profound ties between Pakistan and Malaysia. Their involvement elevates the total number of Pakistan Armed Forces officers who have graced the MAFSC to 84, highlighting the deep-rooted defence relationship between the two nations.
The event culminated in a ceremonial cake cutting and a meaningful exchange of mementos. It was a memorable celebration, symbolising the shared national pride and unity between the two countries.
