PUTRAJAYA, 4th September 2024 – Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) received a visit from Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) – Sri Lanka at PUSPAHANAS. The DSCSC delegation was headed by Brigadier KA Pushpakumara, along with three (3) other staff and 27 Course Participants inclusive of six (6) Overseas Course Participants from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Rwanda and Saudi Arabia. The Delegations were receive by Kdr Shamsudin bin Hamdani, the Director of Management PUSPAHANAS and Lt Kol Noorikhsan bin Abdullah, the GSO 1 Coordination of MAFSC. The visit began with Brigadier KA Pushpakumara, the Head of Delegation, making his courtesy call to Vice Admiral Datuk Sabri bin Zali, President of PUSPAHANAS and Brig Jen Zamsari bin Abu Hasan, the Commandant of MAFSC was also in attendance during the Courtesy Call which was followed with a tea break.
The delegation was subsequently brought to Arul Hall, MAFSC for the curriculum brief by Lt Kol Suresh a/l Subramaniam the GSO 1 Training Development followed by an engaging Q&A session. Upon completion of the briefing, the delegation was handed over to Lt Kol Dr. Mahendra a/l K. Sekaran Nair, the GSO 1 Training for a walking brief on the facilities available in PUSPAHANAS and MAFSC. The visit concluded with the signing of the visitor book, exchange of mementos between the MAFSC and DSCSC with a group photo session at MAFSC main lobby. This visit was held as the platform for knowledge sharing between both colleges which was an excellent and memorable experience, besides strengthening the warm and cordial relationship between MAFSC and DSCSC.
