PUTRAJAYA, 27th September 2024 – The Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) Serial 53/2024 marked Malaysia National Day with a vibrant celebration held at Hikmat Hall, Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC). The event was organised in conjunction with the nation’s Independence Day, celebrated on 31st August and subsequently Malaysia Day on 16th September every year.
The ceremony began at 1430 hours with the arrival of the Commandant, Brigadier General Zamsari bin Abu Hasan. The event featured a captivating video montage showcasing Malaysia’s rich history, followed with a heartfelt poem recital and the cake cutting ceremony. The event concluded on a high note with the singing of patriotic songs, fostering a sense of camaraderie and emphasising national identity among participants.
The organisation of such events plays a crucial role in promoting Malaysia’s history and culture, particularly to the Overseas Course Participants (OCP).
