𝟗𝟒𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐀 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐀𝐘

PUTRAJAYA, 4th Oct 24, The Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) Serial 53/2024 celebrated the 94th SAUDI ARABIA NATIONAL DAY at Hikmat Hall, MAFSC, PUSPAHANAS. This celebration was held in conjunction with the Nepal National Day, which is celebrated on 23rd Sep annually.
Diplomatic relations between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have been established since the 1960s. This marked the beginning of a strong bilateral relationship that has continued to grow over the decades. Establishing these relations was pivotal, laying the groundwork for cooperation in various sectors, including trade, culture, and education.
The first Saudi officer joined the MAFSC in 1981, marking the beginning of a significant relationship between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia in military education and training. This early participation also fostered a spirit of cooperation in defense and security matters. Since that initial participation, 72 Saudi course participants have attended the MAFSC from various branches of the Saudi military, showcasing the diverse representation of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces, including 𝐌𝐚𝐣 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐣 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐥.
The Saudi Arabia National Day Celebration began at 1430 with the arrival of the Commandant, Brig Gen Zamsari bin Abu Hasan. Then, the course participants gave a country brief, a cake-cutting ceremony took place, and a subsequent event was an exchange of mementos.
The event concluded with Yang Berbahagia Commandant adjourning from the hall at 1515.
